“Women and Motorcycling” is a statement that I came up with back in 1990. I won the Americade Queen title in 1990 and decided to do something positive in the world of motorcycling where women were a huge, unspoken part of the lifestyle. With that, I wrote my first book, “Women and Motorcycling.” It was a first attempt to portray women of today by stories and photographs as well as adding a little bit of demographic and historic information about women. There was nothing out there to read about, so I decided to start the trend!

My book and initial concept were a huge hit! From there, everyone jumped on the “Women and Motorcycling” bandwagon by writing books, having events and conferences, and bringing new and interesting aspects to the world of female motorcyclists.

I wrote a second book called, “Women and Motorcycling – The Early Years.” This was my most popular book. I introduced the reader to women motorcyclists of the early 1900s. Again, more people jumped in to spin their own, respective take on this popular subject. I am already working on a new, updated book “Women and Motorcycling – The Early Years.” Stay tuned!
